Japan's Antimicrobial Copper consortium - Copper Friends - has filmed a brief, informal tour of its Tokyo showroom that is now available on YouTube.

Copper Friends is a consortium of companies based in Japan that offer antimicrobial copper products and services. These include Cu+ approved companies such as Elmes (Union Corporation), which offers antimicrobial copper door furniture, and France Bed, which supplies antimicrobial copper bed rails, foot and headboards, IV poles and overbed tables.
The new video, presented in English, is Copper Friends' latest market outreach and joins a live feed from Japan Medical GPO's Nishiogu showroom.
Copper and copper alloys are engineering materials that are durable, colourful and recyclable and are widely available in various product forms suitable for a range of manufacturing purposes. Products made from Antimicrobial Copper are a supplement to, not a substitute for standard infection control practices. It is essential that current hygiene practices are continued, including those related to the cleaning and disinfection of environmental surfaces.
