Moreno Consulting – a French recruitment and HR company – has outfitted its Reims office with antimicrobial copper door handles to help prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria. The company believes that protecting the health of clients is as important as providing their services.

The door handles – from the Steriall antimicrobial copper range produced by local manufacturer LeBronze alloys – are made from a copper alloy offering durability and pleasing aesthetics alongside enhanced hygiene.
Copper is a powerful antimicrobial with rapid, broad-spectrum efficacy against bacteria and viruses, including E.coli and norovirus. It shares this benefit with a range of copper alloys – including brasses and bronzes – forming a family of materials collectively called 'antimicrobial copper'. Touch surfaces made from solid antimicrobial copper are used by healthcare facilities around the world to reduce the spread of infections such as MRSA.
Moreno Consulting is the latest application of antimicrobial copper beyond healthcare, joining a supermarket in Brazil, subway stations and trains in Chile, buses in Beijing and childcare centres in Japan that already use antimicrobial copper to help provide a safer and healthier environment.
